@zayyanuasale: Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago received a condolence visit from the highly respected Royal Father, His Royal Highness, the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, at the Niger State Governor’s Lodge. During the visit, the Shehu commiserated with the Niger State Government and the people of the state over the tragic loss of 37 lives in the recent incident involving artisanal miners and the NSCDC. He expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased, while also praying for peace and stability in Niger State. May Allah SWT forgive the deceased, grant them Aljannatul Firdausi, comfort their families, and protect Niger State from such tragedies in the future. Ameen.
