as my personal experience when I have gone to catholic mass I was unable to retain anything and one day without seeking it a Christian church was live on here and the way the pastor preached the gospel made me want to follow Jesus and have a relationship with Him. My parents always just told me to be Catholic but never practice it

Few things here. 1. Catholics not knowing what they believe doesn’t mean Catholicism is wrong, it means they were either poorly catechized, or not interested. This happens in Protestantism too. 2. Catholics not knowing how to articulate the Gospel would be the same thing. 3. The Gospel that you’re reffering to is your understanding of the Gospel. In Protestantism there are many different understandings of what the Gospel is. This is coming from a former Protestant Evangelist and Teacher. This is a bias. Last thing, Mexico is blessed because it is Catholic! Even in the face of the cartels. It’s blessed.

Correct. And the Catholic Church has different variations depending on where it is in the world and cultural influences. It’s a mix of some Christian teaching, traditions, & folk religion. This will upset many with this but an example is the Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico.

ive been in thought about this . How is the great commission viewed into the Catholic faith . What is the role for a believer of Jesus ? Perhaps most beleivers feel that its left up to the clergy ? Would that be a reasonable perspective?
