Union station, Nelson atkins museum, museum at prairie fire , kc zoo, National WWI museum, Chiefs game at Arrowhead depending what day you’ll be here, worlds of fun, kc ballet is doing wizard of OZ in October …u can go to power and light or Westport for nightlife .

Best restaurants in kc hands down- Earls premier, Westport cafe, green dirt on oak, stock hill, farina, zero zero (if you can get a reservation but the weather is so nice, sit outside!), Rockhill grill, and blvd tavern has great food but doesn’t have great drinks fyi. Best bars- prime social (amazing food too), fern bar, monarch bar, mean mule, j Reiger & co, and Percheron is a fun rooftop bar in the crossroads. Blanc champagne bar also has a great rooftop. Go shopping in brookside, prairie village, or the plaza. If you hop over to prairie village, you have to try cafe Provence and dolce bakery. Enjoy 💋 PS: cafe ca phe has the best coffee in kc!

While ~technically~ not IN Kansas City, I always take visitors to spend an afternoon in Weston. Tons of wineries and distilleries, the downtown is so cute and has great shopping and a few hidden bars. Then finish at O’Malleys, an old historical underground bar. Bob sings Irish songs on the weekends and is a must see!!

My favorite neighborhood Jem is Earl’s Premier in Brookside. Highly recommend the frozen G&T & oysters. Then dessert at French Custard 😋

Wise Guy, Noka, Lazia, Lidia’s, and The Majestic are great places for nice dinners! Gates, Jack Stack, Q39 for bbq! Betty Rae’s for ice cream! Oddly Correct, Chambre (best matcha), Cafe Corazón, Veil, and Messenger for coffee! The Nelson has great art & a nice lawn! The Plaza for shopping! Prospero’s is a really unique book store! There’s so much to do but these a just personal recommendation’s :)

Well. You’re staying at the Crossroads Hotel. It’s so central to so many things and is beautiful. Their rooftop bar gets all the love but their lobby bar is maybe my favorite bar in the city??? Ditz around the crossroads in the afternoon. So many amazing restaurants and bars and art galleries. Head down to the river market for dinner. Go down to the plaza on Sunday morning for brunch and to stroll around when it’s not so busy. If you can, also venture down to crestwood and Brookside for the cutest little shops.

Prime social for cocktails / small apps! Roof top but covered incase it rains! Valet is 10 dollars and the plaza has alo, lulu, Sephora and anthro

There's a lot of good ideas in the comments. I'm just going to say if you go for BBQ, avoid Gates. So many better places like Slaps, Q39, Joe's, and Chef Js.
