@thetravellingfrenchy: Prague’s new Petřín funicular 🚋🍂 ✨ After almost two years out of service, Prague’s iconic Petřín funicular is finally back, now running with completely new fourth-generation cars following a full reconstruction of the line. 🎞️ The new cars were designed by Anna Marešová and feature much larger glazed areas, giving you better views of Prague during the short 3-minute journey. They can carry up to 100 passengers and run every 10 minutes between Újezd, Nebozízek and Petřín. 📸 And there’s even a fun little detail: when the two cars pass each other, one “winks” while the other changes the colour of its interior lighting. The design is a playful nod to Petřín’s long association with romance and meeting places. 🍄‍🟫 The timing couldn’t be better either, with autumn arriving in Prague and the funicular offering an easy way to reach Petřín Hill and its gardens, viewpoints and famous Petřín Tower.
