As a citizen of the Mohegan Tribe - thank you for not dragging our community and our leadership’s name through the mud when talking about this 😭 soooo many people blame the Tribe - you explained this beautifully

Also it’s absolutely ridiculous to say Hartford or Boston is “out of the market” 🙄

I'm so saddened that the Tribe didn't get their full payday for all of the support given to women's sports all of these years. I'm also sad for their entire fan base.

This is so frustrating as a CT women’s basketball fan, wish they could have just moved to Hartford

I’m so upset over this. But am so grateful for all that the Mohegan Tribe and the CT Sun gave us over the years ❤️

As far as I know most of the sun's staff is moving to Houston. I was hoping there would be openings or internships available, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Honestly I hope people got to keep their jobs.

Thank you for this video. You really captured what happened well. I am a really sad about losing our team here and WNBA basketball in the area. Thank you.

I don’t understand how an hours drive is outside the market. Houston to Houston takes more than an hour. CT loves women’s basketball - we’ll have a team again someday.

I’m a lifelong UConn women’s basketball fan and love having the Sun in CT, I was lucky to be an ambassador for a short time. It’s a real special place for many, CT high school basketball championships are played at Mohegan. It’s a real shame that they couldn’t move to Hartford where they would’ve been embraced, no hate to Houston they absolutely deserve a team, just not at the expense of the Mohegan Nation and Sun fans. I’m gonna hold on real tight to all the merch I have, it’s been a great ride, Go Keesusck!!☀️

As someone who had summers in New England with my family, I'm so gutted that the Connecticut Suns is leaving the area. It was a fantastic time going to games and generally shocked when it was announced when they were moving to Houston. Connecticut deserves another WNBA team and I'll keep hoping that they come back in the future.

I wish the comets could've come back without the Connecticut suns leaving. It doesn't seem right, and Houstonians should understand that as we had our team taken away.

Houston deserves a team, but that doesn’t change the fact that Cathy stole this team from Connecticut.

They were the only professional sports team in Connecticut so it’s such a bummer to lose them 💕

I knew they were leaving but I didn't knew why. I thought it was just CT getting shafted by pro sports. again.

Hartford is near or easy to get to all the local major highways. it's 20 min from the major airport, so it'd be easy to get to from there. they really stole the team from the tribe and our state. it's enraging and disgusting.

Hartford would have been an ideal landing place. It’s easy to get to from every point in the state and the arena is much bigger
