@c5news: He dropped a package of cocaine worth up to £1,280 while fleeing police. Two cousins who took over a vulnerable man’s flat in Peterborough to sell class A drugs have been jailed. Body-cam footage released by police shows the dramatic moment Petrit Kolendreu, 27, climbed out of a ground floor window and ran away before he was pinned down and arrested. During the chase, he accidentally dropped a package of cocaine worth up to £1,280 believed to be intended for sale, and his trousers were pulled down as the officer attempted to hold him down. Petrit Kolendreu and his cousin Xhovani Gjonaj were arrested in September last year when officers from the Neighbourhood Support Team conducted a warrant at the property at Whitsed Street in Eastfield. From the raid, police found crack cocaine and phones used by Kolendreu and Gjonaj, who used the names Micky and Jerry to sell class A drugs, along with several wraps of crack cocaine, and a knife. Both men admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug. DC Melero said: “This was a clear case of ‘cuckooing’, where dealers take over the home of a vulnerable person to sell drugs. “Kolendreu and Gjonaj used this flat as a base for their operation selling crack cocaine in Peterborough.” On 17 September at Cambridge Crown Court, Gjonaj was jailed for 52 months and Kolendreu for 47 months.
