I had $400 cart of groceries. I methodically took pics of every item's price and compared it at the register to what was actually being charged to me. Turns out over 1/3 of the item's were more than what was displayed on the digital price tags on the shelves. I let them ring everything up and then I had them return every item that was overpriced. A manager came and informed me I couldn't do that because they couldn't restock all the item's I was removing from my cart as they would have to dispose of them. I proceeded to tell them as a consumer I can purchase/not purchase whatever I chose. The manager then proceeded to give me the price that I took a Pic of at the time I selected the items.

In Canada, we have a law, called the scanning code of practice. If you are charged differently than whats posted on the shelf, you get it for free if its under $10. Another reason why Canada is better 😉

Yep, I got to the register and all of a sudden my bag of apples was $12. I told them to take that shit off immediately because 5 apples for $12?? Yall got me fucked up. Just got to Aldi. Seems they are the only grocery store left with integrity, which makes sense because it’s a German grocery store

Heb does the same with curbside -price adjustment. But then it keeps it and if you continually keep ordering the same item it will adjthe price a cent or two more

Gotta have to start buying from someone you know that makes butter, milk, only buy what you can’t anywhere else. Grow your own vegetables, buy meat from a local ect. A lot of people have already started. Amish !
