Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: Around 1:23 a.m. on April 7, 2025, officers Robert Then, Robert Loewrigkeit, Stephen Kim, and Julio Mancilla from Palisades Park Police headed to Bergen Boulevard and East Central Boulevard. They got a call about a car crash. While checking the area, Then spotted a broken-down 2015 Dodge Dart at East Central Boulevard and 14th Street. Another cop followed the fluid leak. It led back to a parked car hit on Central Boulevard in Fort Lee. The Dodge had crossed into Palisades Park before it stopped. Then talked to the driver, 27-year-old Chennelle. He smelled booze on her. He also saw lots of cannabis stuff. She said she drank earlier that night. Later, she told them she worked at a weed shop. The cops suspected she was impaired. They asked her to do sobriety tests. Then began with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. Officer Christolias watched closely. He saw no smooth eye movement. Nystagmus jerked at max deviation and started before 45 degrees. Next came the Walk and Turn. Chennelle missed heel-to-toe steps. She took the wrong number. She botched the turn. Last was One Leg Stand. She didn't lift her foot right. She dropped it too soon. The crash, impairment signs, booze smell, her admission, and failed tests led to arrest for drunk driving. Cops impounded her car for 12 hours under John's Law. Then took her to Palisades Park Police first. They read the motor vehicle statement. She agreed to breath tests. After 20 minutes of watching, she blew. But the machine failed. So they drove her to Ridgefield Police. Their Alcotest showed 0.16% BAC. That's twice the 0.08% limit. They brought her back to Palisades Park to finish up. After tickets and processing, they let her go to a sober friend. That adult signed the liability warning for court later. Then gave her these tickets: Driving under influence (39:4-50) Careless driving (39:4-97) No insurance card (39:3-29C) 0:25 oh you should leave her in jail. 28:41 when you realize it's everyone else's fault but your own, what would somebody do?
