we're not set on a name until the baby is born we have a few names we love but none of them feel right maybe when we see the baby we'll be like 'yes i know your name' thats how it was with our first and i love the name we went with i think it suits my toddler so well

I told everyone her name and they all loved it and got her a bunch of personalized gifts but at the end of the day the only opinions that matter are the mom and dad of the baby and everyone else will just have to accept it

idk we told everyone our top two names with our last baby (perfectly normal names btw) and they absolutely tore us apart. for me, i won’t like it anymore once somebody says something bad about it, especially when they make a huge deal of it. so we are not telling anyone names anymore. 😁

THIS! i’m early along but picked the name Anneliese if I have a girl and i’ve had it for so long. My moms middle name is Ann and my dad’s is Lee so it’s like their names combined. Told my sister in law and she was like noooo my bf cheated on me w a girl named that before and blah blah blah. like sorry it’ll most likely still be her name😂
