I wish people would stop pinning it all on him. He lost his children and he lost his wife. It’s always easy to say what you could do in hindsight. And there’s always this idea that “if I just wait, it has to get better eventually.” I very much do doubt that he had any part in harming his children. I think, like any father, he just didn’t think his wife was mentally sick enough to take it that far.

I dont even understand how he talks about it. my son drowned he made it and is ok. but the memory of it all. makes it so hard for me to talk about. I have to start with its ok he made it and is ok but..... I sold my soul that day and im ok if it is taken at any moment. when the priest meets you in the waiting room it changes the outcome you believed in.

PPD and PPP are scary as fuck. Idk why ppl don’t take it seriously. At times like that, the father should be stepping up and taking the kids away from the mom. If the mom expresses any of the symptom, the kids are not safe until the mom is well again. It can take weeks or months to get better.
