@redfield.aev: The Legendary Seven Minutes Albert Wesker in the studio @Capcom @Resident Evil #residentevil #albertwesker #wesker #residentevil4remake #chrisredfield In Resident Evil 5, "The legendary 7 minutes" refers to the iconic boss encounter aboard the cargo ship where Albert Wesker adjusts his wrist watch, looks at Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar, and delivers one of the most famous lines in the entire franchise: "Seven minutes. Seven minutes is all I can spare to play with you." This line initiates a timed 7-minute gameplay sequence where Wesker's superhuman speed makes him virtually invincible to direct gunfire, forcing players to hide, use the dark corridors, and flank him to survive until the timer runs out. It highlights Wesker's supreme arrogance, as he views fighting Chris and Sheva not as a genuine threat, but merely as a minor delay in his schedule to launch the Uroboros missile. Adding to that iconic sequence, if you manage to deal enough damage to Wesker before the timer runs out, he gets interrupted, checks his watch, and flees early, unlocking the secret trophy/achievement "Bad Signal" (or It's Bad for Business). To achieve this, players often turn off the room lights to lose his line of sight, wait for him to lose track of them, and then fire an RPG-7 at him from behind. When Wesker catches the rocket with his bare hands—showcasing his absurd superhuman reflexes—a second player must shoot the rocket in his grip to detonate it and force him to retreat early.
