@offenceregister: Kamljit Sahota Jailed Over Ten Years For Abuse 👇 FULL CASE DETAILS BELOW 👇 Kamljit Sahota, aged 48, of Cannock, has been jailed for over a decade after subjecting a woman to terrifying coercive control and raping her in Stafford. Between July and October last year, Sahota trapped the victim in a campaign of intimidation, controlling her movements and threatening to destroy her property before carrying out two rapes. When detectives arrested him, Sahota initially denied every allegation. However, when confronted in court with overwhelming evidence and testimony from the courageous survivor, Sahota abandoned his lies and entered guilty pleas. At Stafford Crown Court, the judge sentenced Sahota to 10 years and two months behind bars. He was also handed an ongoing restraining order, ordered to pay a £228 victim surcharge, and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life. #ukcrime #uknews #courtnews #truecrimeuk #publicsafety
