How about we raise our boys to be capable adults. As a boy mom I hate this. If my son can’t feed himself, clean his room, and wear clean clothing after 18+ years in my home I have failed.

someone to take you to medical stuff could actually be cool. I remember my freshman year of high school driving myself to the emergency room with really bad pneumonia and being but on steroids and a ventilator for a night and then driving myself home. I was coughing so much I could barely look at the road for more than 2 seconds and I lowkey could have used someone to take me for cases that are not quite bad enough to justify an ambulance but too bad to take yourself yk

Learning should start at 5. I started teaching mine how to fold clothes. Pick up toys, etc. when they get tall enough teach them to separate whites from colors, measure detergent and fold hang it all. Around 9-10 star learning to cook. My two were so grateful for all I taught them because they had roommates at college and in the military who could not do a single thing to care for themselves! I got multiple tank you calls for missing out on the embarrassment.

I was like you guys until my daughter went to school. Now I don’t hire the “Mama” near my daughters campus to clean or do laundry, I do use her services for things like delivering birthday treats or picking her up from the airport when coming home at night late. And while I never considered it, this mom did go to the emergency room with a kid to sit with him until his parents from 10 hours away could get there. She also does delivery to her home and business for out of state students who are flying in for move in and stores and transports vehicles for kids that live a long way away. I will be using her for my daughters deep clean when she moves out because she only has 24 hours to get out after her last exam. I agree with Alex. Go mamas! Get your hustle on!

I am completely on H’s side this is crazy. These kids should have these skills before going to college. If they can’t I call parent fail. I have a daughter in college and the amount of boys she needs to show the boys how to use a washer is madness.
