I feel like the garden of Eden was a metaphor or a baseline for a narrative that was being portrayed. And this is why you see the fruit as blue but it could be other colors as it never happened and you are seeing what the general energy around the story that so many believe. I hope this helps.

now here's a funny thing, and Christianity you have Adam and Eve who lived in the garden of Eden and supposedly ate an Apple. then you have the norse pagans who believed the first man and woman were named Ash and elm and they lived in Idunns (Eden) orchard (another possible name for a garden) and Eden was there to protect the golden apples which gave the gods their life longevity. coincidence? wait till you hear about Odin!!!
