one of my all time favourite tropes is non-sexual intimacy, both romantic and platonic! brushing your partner's hair, cuddling your bestie (or vice versa)... hell yeah I eat it all up

I love tragedy and one of my favorite tropes of all time is Break the Cutie. Take a character that is Too Pure for this Sinful Earth and put them through a Trauma Conga Line. What do you do with a broken cutie? well, my two favorite tropes for AFTER breaking the cutie is a healing arc OR a villain arc.

My favorite is making weilders of elemental powers the opposite of what one might expect. Hot headed ice weilder. Calm and cool fire master. Emo light barer. Goofy and sweet shadow user. stuff like that :3

I'm not sure it's a trope, but I like to call it Adorable Ace Couple is Adorable. It's basically a romantic couple being adorably loving and caring to each other under duress. I was introduced to it via the SCP story series Unhuman.
