Yeah I think everyone's gone through that, the gay conflict. All we can do is fully embrace ourselves & be unapologetic about it, the ones that have a problem with it is their issue!

This is so valid! I've heard this before and it can actually be very hard! You're never 'just gay'-it can a very different experience for everyone! Because I'm very straight looking/acting often people don't guess about me so I feel I've had to repeatedly come out over the years. Not that I go around announcing it to the world 😅 but there are a lot situations where you do have to say something eventually and drop it into conversation. I often wished I was more obvious- would make life easier!😅 But everyone's situation/experience is unique.

I feel like this all the time. My husband and I lived in the suburbs and rarely immersed ourselves in “gay culture”. Because of that I never felt I really fit in either situation. I have to say we were accepted everywhere we lived so if anything I feel more out of place in a gay environment.
