This makes me so sad for him because my dad is like this too. I’m 25 and have countless stories where I went out of my way to do something nice for him and he was never appreciative, a lot of the time even critical of what I did for him. It started to take a serious toll on my confidence and self worth, I eventually after 20 something years, had to really change the way I communicate with my dad to protect myself. Im really sorry Terran. Don’t let the way he behaves change your heart to do something nice for people, there’s so many people who will appreciate your kindness
