Thank you, 🌟🐇 rescuer here!🌟 They're the pug of the bunny world. They often have ear, eye, sinus or even teeth issues. Bunnies can already be expensive pets, but lops often cost more. Lops need a vigilant human who will take them in for their regular check-ups to catch any issues early. 💗🐇💗🫶💗

My bunny’s teeth started falling cause of the floppy ears and had to put him to sleep. Humans really messed up with that one. 😞

Same kinda goes for sully too. Since he carries the dwarfism gene that leads to his more smushed face, it would put him at a higher risk of dental and sinus problems, but because they’re so small and cute they were selectively bred

On top of the ear diseases, the ears also limit their field of vision! Bunnies can see almost all around them with normal ears except for a small blind spot directly in front of them, but lop-ears get in the way
