Kelsey, I’m so sorry. As someone who survived her own narcissistic abuser, I recognize the dread on your face as you’re retelling this. Please don’t feel you have to continue the series if it’s too hard on your mental health. Physical/sexual abuse is abhorrent- but it doesn’t linger quite like the emotional/mental abuse. I’ve been free since 2022, but I still have nightmares, flashbacks, and intrusive memories. I’m so happy you are out of this situation, in a healthy marriage, and on your own two feet. I just wish I could hug you as you’re doing this. 💜

EVERY holiday, birthday, etc... was a disaster. I got no card for my birthday, which was when we were on our Honeymoon, and he started a massive fight at dinner and stormed out of the restaurant. 😒🤦♀️
