Fun fact. Squirrels eat about a pound of food a day. Which seems like a lot, but it’s really not because they spend their time foraging and moving their bodies for food. If you were giving a squirrel a pound of food, but they are doing nothing but sitting and eating then it is not healthy for them. This makes me incredibly sad.
