How are y’all making the money to afford to even be on the road like that just strictly off of content?

Let’s not forget about annual registration and property tax on an expensive vehicle, maintenance and repairs, and the ever so elusive, but very real, depreciation expense.

well on top of it if she doesn’t have an extra car and just drives the van then she’s only paying for the van/home instead of an apartment and a car separately

you'd also have to take into consideration that you're traveling everyday. If you were to factor that in, apartment+traveling (hotel, car rental, food, etc), the cost for renting a place and frequent travel would be way more expensive than living in a van. I want a vaaaaan 😭

that's a pretty solid breakdown! The coolest thing is that you save money because you don't need to book separate paid vacations, you are literally on an adventure all the time (even though if you work 5days a week :))

How are you able to only do laundry every two weeks? Don’t you get a lot of clothing dirty/sweaty during long active days

I feel like it's a lifestyle that you gotta like. It shouldn't be something you do to save money, even if you save a little bit you'd be miserable if you don't like living in a tight space and have to constantly keep moving to a different location. And btw those prices are still crazy

You also get to remove a separate car payment and car insurance and normal gas though bc I pay rent and all of those things!

Honestly it’s cheaper than that considering your transportation cost would be about the same if you are having to do in person jobs.

considering the Cost of a PLACE & SEPARATE VEHICLE this is significantly cheaper. monthly expenses for me were around 3k before moving to spain. water, rent, food, vehicle, insurance, fuel, electric, car repairs, home repairs, internet, phone, etc this is HALF of that plus you get to travel
