False equivalence. You are in fact not forced into slavery in (most) countries, and comparing the two is completely wrong. An office worker, depending on where they live, is likely to have around 2 weeks of paid leave, entitled to benefits if they can’t work and only has to work 8 hours a day for a wage that can sustain them. A slave had to work around 16-18 hours a day in the baking sun for chalk bread and some water.
