The BYD Shark is quicker over a short sprint, because its electric assistance gives it very strong instant acceleration. But once it reaches its ~160 km/h limiter, it cannot keep accelerating. The Ranger Raptor may be slightly slower in the beginning, but it can continue to increase speed to around 180 km/h. So, on a long enough straight it would catch the Shark and then steadily open the gap. So in simple terms: Shark = quicker. Raptor = faster.
