@plaster.bay: Working with Plaster of Paris comes with one unavoidable thing: small imperfections caused by air bubbles. There are plenty of tips and techniques that can help reduce, remove, or minimize them. But the truth is, you can’t eliminate them completely. What matters is not whether a tiny bubble exists, but whether it actually affects the look of the finished piece. I sell pieces with minor imperfections or tiny air bubbles that won’t be noticeable once the figure is painted. But if an imperfection is visible and actually takes away from the design, I will never put that piece in a customer’s order. For the first few months, I was honestly so hard on myself 😂 I threw away dozens of perfectly usable pieces just because of tiny imperfections. Don’t do that to yourself. These are kids’ painting projects. They’re not museum pieces. Kids want to paint, experiment, mix colors, and most importantly — have fun with the process 🎨 And that’s what matters most ❤️
