The author clarified that the dream scene does NOT mean that Eunho went back to the past, or that everything was just a dream. Their past wasn't erased. It was simply a scene of present-day Eunho dreaming, where he was able to tell the younger Dohyun the things he had always wanted to say to him. I think the drama's direction may have made this a little unclear. Their relationship was real, not a dream, so please rest assured!
