I think they believe that Saints do these things of themselves... From my understanding they pray just as we do and any miracles attributed to them is in fact the holy spirt thay works through their intercessionary prayers.

They can’t allow anyone to be closer to God than them. They don’t want to believe in miracles because it shows that God can work through someone and that someone isn’t them. They will never accept someone can be holier than them or closer to living like Jesus than them. It’s a very ego based belief system which is why they hate the authority of the church. They seriously made up their own Jesus which is very Lukewarm and requires absolutely nothing. It’s makes them feel better about falling short yet I never understand why they preach about hell more than heaven if you don’t have to do anything but believe in Jesus. Why do they talk about hell so much if it’s so easy to get into heaven? They believe in prosperity gospel so they shouldn’t suffer ever and the devil can’t affect them because they believe in Jesus even though he came for Jesus himself and they are never tested because life is on easy mode for their belief structure. A lot of differences among Protestants and yet they will all agree that Catholics are bad.

As long as all Christians continue to fight with each other, the devil wins. He divides and causes chaos and we all take the bait. Former Lutheran now Catholic. I did the work and am strong in my faith. I will support you in yours. I will not demean your denomination, I will respect your views, can you also respect mine. We all need to put God first and treat each other the way we want to be treated. We can all agree that is biblical. God bless you all

I think that god has to work through us. We as living humans would not be able to handle seeing god walk among us. Also if god works miracles through those of us that serve him would we not want to strive to be a person that god would work through? Like him saying I’m not coming back yet, but this person is living how you should live, imitate them.

As a critic, I always look for the true fruits of miracles—such as whether those involved gain more faith in God—rather than just physical evidence, which the Church also examines. God can perform countless miracles in our lives, but if our hearts do not change, those miracles are merely entertainment for the sensationalist. This is like Herod, who wanted to see Christ perform a miracle simply to be fascinated, without any concern for why Jesus performed it.

Literally no proof he did the miracle. I mean if you truly think logically there is no proof whatsoever.none other then the parents saying they prayed to him.Can you disproof to me that a nurse or doctor in that room didn’t pray over that baby in the name of Jesus and that’s what caused the miracle to happen.
