I can’t fully explain it, but I think so many of us see ourselves through such a harsh lens - especially as we get older. When I look at myself, I’ve just always focused on the things I dislike most: my hooded lids, my nose, the brown spots, all of it. And for years now, I’ve just wanted to cover & perfect with MAKEUP ✨ And as moms, I think we put ourselves on the back burner a LOT. By the end of the day, we’re exhausted, and spending time on ourselves feels like the last thing on the list. But honestly? A clean, simple skincare routine & THREE minutes of a little self care a day has changed so much for me. My skin is definitely still a work in progress, & we all have our struggles - but the confidence I’ve been feeling lately going bare-faced makes my heart so happy. 🥺🙏🏼 But with hair around 6+ weeks of consistency, I’ve seen so much improvement. My skin looks brighter, more even, and healthier overall. And hearing the results and stories from other women reminds me that I’m not alone in those feelings of frustration with my skin… but I’m also not alone in seeing real changes and feeling that confidence making a come back. 🥹🙌🏼 Progress over perfection, always.
