IF YOU WORK IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL, AND MORE THAN HALF OF YOUR STUDENTS SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE, LEARN THAT LANGUAGE AS WELL. That in itself, would show that learning something new is a choice, but it's a plus.
