I absolutely would do that, but I would also inform the customer via phone call that I would expect my hourly rate plus a tip incentive as well as reimbursement for the product in cash when I walk up or they don’t get the vinaigrette

anytime a customer asks me to buy something out of pocket and say they will give me the money for the item, I immediately report them and have them blocked so I don't get them again

not doing it. I've had customers ask me to add items on DD... had to tell them we can't do that. they have to do that on their end. they act all surprised. I'm not doing anything that is gonna require me to use my own $ 🤷♀️

I have done this once! I was shopping for a 90 year old lady whose daughter placed an order for her. who only eats 1 nutty buddy bar for breakfast. She wont eat anything else and our local Wegmans was out. They did not ask me to do this. I did it because at 90 years old,I was going to make sure she has her favorite breakfast.

The last time I did anything to help a customer they claimed they was giving me an extra tip. Drop it off they removed the tip completely. I will NEVER help another customer 😭
