@tweeker_tincel: Yes I went through and counted / logged every single time Peridot says this… “WOW THANKS” #stevenuniverse #peridot #peridotsu #compilation #superidot

🌻l0verg1rl👩🏻‍🦽‍➡️ :

She considered Steven saying “I love you” as a gift 😭😭😭😭

Charcharvent :

LMAOOO SHE TOOK IT LITERALLY

seajay :

I love how literal gems take instructions from saviors, Garnet rarely asks questions due to Rose saying “never question anything again”, and Peridot constantly repeating “wow thanks” due to Steven.

starface⋆──⃝─⃝⃝⃝⃝──⋆ :

It's like. Since Steven is a diamond, it's an order from a diamond

▪︎{|Loca|}▪︎ :

we all love our green autistic gem

Maniacal mojo :

peridot nailed those social interactions

Madid :

such a neat bit of consistency

Cody_Lately :

I never noticed the “wow thanks” until recently and I’m obsessed! 😂😂

꒰১ 𝗲𝘃𝗮 (-.-“) ໒꒱ :

I LOVE THAT LITTLE FACT

AKS :

I never noticed how consistent the writers were with each character

🐾𝐵𝑖𝑎 :

I love peridot

Rapunculus :

I wish she would’ve fused with him at some point 😭😭, I already know it would’ve been the cutest thing.

licalacalderon :

this joke doesn't make sense in the Spanish dub 😭

redhawk :

corny ass comment but its funny how thats also my birthstone

Peridot’s Momma :

shes adorable i love her

Raditz :

This and garnet taking rose’s words of “no more questions” literally are some of my favourite jokes in the series. Every time peri is given something she says wow thanks and garnet literally never asks a question in the whole show outside flashbacks

Huh :

I genuinely forget how little homeworld gems know about the earth or what’s on it. From peridot taking the “ wow thanks” literally in all aspects to lapis learning the mass of water she was using was called an ocean, even Jasper learning that the little green earthlings who didn’t talk was actually just grass she was ripping out of the ground, she didn’t use the word grass until later when Steven brought it back and she got mad. It’s so funny how they genuinely don’t know but it’s like a baby learning the world and what everything is called you just don’t expect it from the gems who are seemingly powerful and once tried to literally kidnap or hurt Steven.

Mary :

I really love that trope, an alien character not fully understanding how a social interaction works but yet capturing the important aspects of it is so cute

Jota dos desenhos :

I LOVE HER AUTISM

⚡️Thunder🪲 :

i need to start saying “wow thanks” 😭

Rocket :

reminds me of how pearl called greg "um greg universe"

KevinBeritan :

Steven's birthstone btw

Júpiter :

wow thanks
