I liked this analysis. It’s uncomfortable because there’s no easy answer. Looksmaxxing emerged from a couple of things coming together. Many looksmaxxers are nerudivergent. Many are materialistic atheists who belive life is just about mating with as many women as possible. They long to be these archetypes like “chad” and label themselfs how they see themselfs (chud). All the while many men aren’t maturing normally due to lack of exercise, gaming, self isolation. Looksmaxxing is kind of the tip of the spear of media pressure on young men. This kind of stuff has actually been happening with women before this but it was hidden behind a veil of authenticy. Theres no veil they market it as a hidden truth of reality and that there is no hope. I see the issue fundamentally of a lack of understanding of the bigger picture. Life, and purpose, and why do right instead of wrong at a really basic level

Most people dont even acknowledge or want to acknowledge the fact attractiveness is objective, what makes u think we can push societal change? Babies learn first word at 1 year old, they start judging who’s attractive and not from 2 months old, same faces adults find attractive, so the whole bueaty standard thing is bs.
