has anyone ever asked against which account balance is the interest charged? There is an entire years balance against which 0 interest is returned. I am also suspicious 🤔 the other day the dollar went to 3900 out of the blue 😳

I think we need to stop looking at the 16% government bond and start looking at the 22.53% blended return. The 80% fixed income is just the anchor. The real magic was the 18.4% in regional equities, a 55% dividend jump and serious FX gains. When you have a Shs32.8 trillion asset base, the compounding goes crazy

To me, i think Government is trying to pull people out of other savings channels . By declearring such, there will be increased voluntary savings and government will borrow from that. Currently NSSF is into real estate and i don't think they have earned return on that investment already to announce such a huge interest rate.
