The wild part about this Endgame: Encore stuff isn't just RDJ showing up as Doom; it's that Marvel is literally retconning Tony Stark’s funeral tribute into a villain teaser In 2019, those 4 hammer clangs were a homage to the cave in Iron Man 1. It was the MCU’s emotional way of closing the door on Tony Stark. Now they're adding a 5th strike to say, "Actually, that was Doom forging his mask the whole time”. People try to glaze it as some High-IQ multiversal setup. However. I feel like it’s just a way to retcon things like you said which insults our intelligence and shows how lazy they are
