If she’s worried about trade value she probably owes money on it. But she don’t want to say that she has a lien on it. Best way to approach this situation would be “ Mrs customer, how much do you feel your vehicle is worth in the condition it is in” she gives you a price, then you reply with “is that what you would pay for it if you had the chance”. She will then realize it’s worthless
