I never understood why it seems some of the most profitable industries where also pretty unethical.. Its crazy to think just how dependent the whole world is on oil.. Yet to see that there are only a handful of companies that are making an enormous profit from it.. Why is the system designed around it?

You have hit the nail on the head the uneducated and politicians will not address the actual oversized elephant in the room which is corporate oil company profits... from what you just said these oil companies could reduce prices at the pump by half and still make between 20 and 25 billion dollars a year... why should they profit out of people's misery?? we need to get busy and start protesting these companies they should not be allowed to do this... it is legalized theft.

We have always been robbed by the fuel companies. Also it doesn’t help that we are paying a double tax on our fuel for GST and the so-called fuel excise.
