I’ve been here. I started with these small companies. They’re a stepping stone, I went corporate and got the pay I was asking for, but I was still doing multiple roles where that pay no longer felt gratifying either. I then got extremely picky with what company I wanted to work for. Before I applied I did research on the company value and how they treat employees. Now I make even more in my second corporate role, and work for a great company and good environment. I see bright things for you. Don’t go back to a small company though, you’re never going to get what you need out of it. This was just practice. Go corporate and find find a good corporate company.
