questions are the backbone of healthcare, somebody will always know more ! ignorance is so dangerous & i purposefully ask students if they have questions after even the most simple task because that’s how u learn

I was asked a question by a teacher and I responded with 'I dont know' and she then said 'then we'll sit here until you do'. I never figured out the answer because she moved on to the next person. they didn't know it. nobody in my SIM group knew the answer. we told her we haven't learned that yet (she was substituting our SIM group bc our teacher had an emergency she had to go to. my SIM group also goes first so we always go before learning the modules we need for the SIM so it's terrible. She asked me a question a few minutes later and I knew what idk would get me do i tried to think of something to say but couldn't. she put that i can't say idk to questions and that I ignored her💀 would you rather I lie to patients? like what did she want

I’m a radiation therapist and this is one of the biggest things to learn. Like you should have an idea about all the immunotherapies and chemotherapy but you aren’t going to be able to keep up with all the new ones, variations, side effects. You need to be able to talk with you patients and reach out to other professionals to gain answers.
