Wearing a suit and without using a stunt double, Nilsson stood on the 15 ton truck in cold and windy conditions, trusting the engineering beneath him. The stunt was filmed for Volvo's commercial, The Hook, and was a real demonstration rather than a CGI effect or staged practice shot. The message was simple: if Volvo was willing to put its own CEO on top of a truck suspended high in the air, they were willing to put their engineering to the test.
