@darewithdrea: You know you need to rest, but you keep pushing. You know you need to say no, but “yes” comes out before you’ve even thought about it. You know scrolling for three hours isn’t going to make you feel better, but somehow you’re still on the couch doing exactly that. And then comes the part that makes everything worse: “I know better. Why am I still doing this?” Awareness can actually be a frustrating stage of change because now you can see the pattern while you’re still living it. But noticing something doesn’t mean you should immediately know how to respond differently. Sometimes it starts with realizing afterward. Then catching yourself while it’s happening. Then creating a pause. Then making one different choice. And sometimes going right back to the old pattern and noticing again. That still counts as change. You don’t need more shame for not immediately becoming the person you intellectually know you want to be. You need opportunities to practice living differently. That’s a huge part of why I created my 14-Day Reset. It gives you one small practice each day to help close that gap between “I know something needs to change” and actually beginning to experience something different. Comment RESET and I’ll send you the details. #burnoutrecovery #HealingJourney #survivalmode #anxietyrecovery #anxietyrelief
