That Mylan brand from India ain’t the proper real stuff dunno what’s in it but it smells like glue & gave me a rash for 3 weeks, you need to get urself proper quality tretinoin from a chemist store not online cheap quality rubbish who knows what’s in that

GIRL!!! I had the same issue, before putting Tretinoin on you have to put moisturizer, I use la roche posay cicaplast balm!!!! Life changing

Honestly the only thing that saved me was skin flooding using I’m from rice toner, haruharu black rice toner and then the haruharu barrier essence and then a good harmonic acid serum (I use hydrinity and it amazing). Let that dry down and then use tret and then I like the hydrinity repair cream or the avene barrier repair cream over top.

It’s so interesting to see how different the reactions are for everyone! Ive been on 0.25% for about 3-4 months now and have not had dryness or reaction. I was expecting a reaction so I thought it wasn’t working lmao! I started 3x a week and now I’m doing it every other day. I’ve been on every other day for 3 weeks now I believe.

I’ve always used a milky toner 1st, either the BYOMA milky toner or the Innis free milky toner let it dry for 10-15 mins, put on Tret, Avene cicalfate cream and finish with a few sprays of Eadem Mami wata and I’ve never had any issues. My skin is already dry as it is and I’m on 0.05% just also make sure you’re using a gentle face wash that isn’t stripping your skin while using tret

I used tret cream for almost a year and the dryness/peeling was unbearable. I recently switched to gel + started avoiding around my mouth and it’s made a HUGE difference! LRP never worked for me either—the balm or moisturizer. Medicube cream has been the only thing my skin LOVES!💗

I switched to name brand retin A and no peeling at all anymore. I used to peel for multiple days after each use and never got up to daily use for a whole year.

Altreno- time released tretinoin lotion with moisturizers built in. I just started it a month ago but the peeling is barely there. On other retinoids my whole face would about peel off lol.

keep an eye out for moisturizers with ceramides as their call out ingredient.(i use the ptr skinjection moisturizer) also milky toners for the morning(I use the haruharu wonder barrier essence)
