A few things I couldn’t fit in the video 👇🏼 Sip & Guzzle: here’s the update that makes me want to visit again ASAP, the head bartender from Angel’s Share @tsunetaka_imada just joined the Sip team. Angel’s Share has quietly produced some of the greatest bartenders alive, Shingo Gokan and Takuma Watanabe both came up there. I cannot wait to see how much higher this pushes an already elite bar. And remember, it’s really two bars in one. Both Sip and Guzzle have exceptional menus, and both rooms are deserving of being a 50 Best bar in their own right. Schmuck: also a two room concept. The Living Room and the Kitchen Table side both have masterful drinks. Two separate menus, two different moods, and both rooms are deserving of being a 50 Best bar on their own. Double Chicken Please: my favorite bar in the world, full stop. It’s two concepts in one too. It’s a design studio that happens to serve the best cocktails in the world. Unnecessary: same team as Double Chicken Please, literally around the corner, and it’s soft serve spiked with alcohol. Flavors change every week. The perfect way to end the night.
