@alexandertchristian: The Other Side of the Table. The UX design industry as we knew it is over. The playbook that defined UX designers for the last 15 years doesn’t prepare you for everything the job demands in 2026. And this is bigger than AI. The tools changed. Companies changed. The expectations changed. If you work in UX design, learn the product. Understand the business. Get comfortable working outside your job description. Adaptability might be the most important UX career skill for the next 10 years. #UXDesign #UXCareer #UXDesigner #ProductDesign #DesignCareer
How do you deal with UX designers who are opposed to AI? I came across one UX designer who said they have 10 years experience and asked me why I don't feel embarassed or guilty about using AI. I think they're being stubborn and trying to bring me down. However, I prefer to adapt, be familiar and excited about emerging technology.

The process of making Digital Products DID NOT CHANGE. AI will stream line ideation, development, operations and research, but it SUCKS at the management of a dynamic product catalog road map for a market sector. BECAUSE YOUR PAYING FOR ATTEMPTS and not outcomes.

AI might speed up your process, but it shouldn't replace user understanding. Replacing hours of thoughtful exploration in Figma with an LLM prompt usually produces generic, sloppy journeys. LLMs predict patterns; UX designers understand context, intent, and human behavior. Bring the two worlds together or truly get left behind

But don’t we still need the knowledge to design things for users actual needs and back it up with facts ( such as ux laws)? For the best experience..
