anything that blows up rips ive had many. I wpuld just buy a 15 dollar blow up camping pad on Amazon and use blanket on top and underneath a exercise mat u csn get a Micheal or that other similar store.

Awwww bummer! A good mattress is everything. I had an all in one 6” foam with 1” memory foam top cot sized mattress I found on Amazon. Used for bunk beds in RV’s. I was able to cut it to fit too. $200 or so, but worth it to me… food for thought 🙂

I ordered a high density foam that’s firm and it does great. The memory foam was too soft and my hips would bottom out but this foam feels great. It’s what you would use for couches or chairs to reupholstery. You can cut it to fit and get it different thicknesses. I got the 5 inch and I love it and you don’t break the bank

Any chance you were at a high altitude or drove through a mountain pass? One time in Colorado I had a hiking mat max out at altitude while driving and after I let the air out of it it was never the same and would lose air. I could be wrong but that was the only thing I could think it was at the time.

I went to Walmart and got 2 eggcrate size full. And 1- 1 1/2 memory foam size full. Fold them all in half. Memory foam in the middle. 2-Waterproof twin mattress covers. 1 on top and one on bottom. Then twin sheet over all. So comfortable. Idk if this helps I’m also new to this

I use a futon with a super thick mattress topper & it’s like a cloud. But a futon might not fit in your car. I have a Chevy Suburban. 😬

This is why I refuse to have an inflatable mattress in my car now 😬 I really enjoy the Hest mattress I have but you could also get firmer foams and just cut them to size and then I use a sheet that’s made for like semi truck beds

Yikes! I'm so sorry you're in this situation. That's probably the biggest reason I'm afraid of trying to live in a vehicle. I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. Restful, low pain sleeping is very high on my list of necessities. Even changing positions can spike my pain level and ruin a night's sleep. I hope you find a workable solution SOON. Good sleep is never to be taken for granted.

My setup is different than yours but I got a nice, clean, twin, memory foam mattress off of a local flash gives page for free and cut it to fit with a serrated bread. Used it for the first time Monday and it worked great. There is a caution that these can contain fiberglass so make the best decision for yourself, everyone.

It's hard finding a car mattress .. I just bought one recently n yeah it doesn't stay pumped ... it doesn't fully deflate but it's not as firm as it could be ... so I feel you lol
