This is an older photo of mine. It has all the windows in it now. Was wanting to do the same thing. But didn’t want to do all the fabrication. Going to make a street roof out of it now. They make adapter plate for the transaxle to mount a v8. That’s I the route I’m going.

On the XJ jeeps the first thing was removing the swaybar. Sure it sways more on the road but also more suspension travel off road.

cut a slice in a beer keg, bend some tabs down, slide it over and bolt it to those two small holes on the subframe
