This story made me tear up a bit. I’m so glad you got the opportunity to meet your birth mom. I was adopted when I was 3 and never got the chance to meet mines. She also struggled the majority of her life with addiction and unfortunately she did lose that battle. It’s heartwarming to hear other stories like yours. Happy that you posted this video.
