you can still emotionally be attached and still know that you are worth so much more than what he can offer. i understand the feeling of him being ur first but he cheated and he will cheat again. save yourself the heartache baby and leave. you don’t have to be healed or perfectly fine after the breakup bc you won’t but months from now you’ll see clearly and be happy you chose yourself OR you can still be with him months from now, he never stops cheating, he starts acting mean, and you hate yourself for staying. we’ve all been there i promise you aren’t alone

stay until you hate him, it took me FOREVER. you dont hate him, but you’ll get tired of him, youll never stop loving him. but you’ll can stop caring. remember your self worth and if this person, was doing this to your bestfriend(you). it doesnr work all the time, but it works at moments. all what you can do is cry it out and beg him to change. he doesnr want too. he knows he can do whatever he wants, and he can get away with it bc you love him so dearly, but you must love yourself more. thats the hardest decision. but after a LONG time, you will achieve it. i never stopped loving mine after he fucked multiple girls. we’re not “birds”, we just want love from that person bc they gave us that love and jt felt like a eternity and we just want to feel loved, i dont know how bad your situation is, but this is my opinion

and everyone who’s telling you to go back, DO NOT. The way that it will ruin you in so many ways. You cut contact immediately and no matter how much you miss him and or feel what you do, remind yourself if he loved you like he claimed he did, then why’d he do it to begin with if you were the only one he loved? i stayed with my first everything for over a yr and 4 months, it does NOT get better. it only gets WORSE. it’s been 8 months since the break up and i have not been healthier and happier, do it for your future self so she doesn’t regret wasting so much time
