\\\ 台風 — TYPHOON /// In Japan, typhoons are a familiar part of late summer and autumn☔️ From August through October, Japan can experience typhoons that bring heavy rain and strong winds. They can affect everyday life in many ways — flights may be delayed or cancelled, trains may stop, and heavy rainfall can cause flooding and landslides. Today, a typhoon is approaching the Tokyo area, and many parts of Japan are experiencing heavy rain and strong winds. Chiba and other areas have also been affected by flooding. For visitors to Japan, typhoon season is an important part of understanding the country’s seasons and climate. Travel plans may sometimes change suddenly, so checking the latest weather and transportation information is especially important during this time.
