@beauty.n.beyondwith.tara: I've been told I was crazy more than once. 😎 I was told I was crazy for moving my business into a larger location in the middle of a recession. I did it anyway. I was told I would never make it on my own. Did that anyway too. And there have been plenty of smaller versions over the years. Don't do that. That's too much. Why would you take that on? Be realistic. Keep things simple. Here's the thing… I don't play small anymore. Almost three years ago, I said yes to another opportunity. And for most of those three years, I've actually been pretty quiet about the business side of it. Not because it wasn't working. Because I wanted to make dang sure it DID before I started shouting about it from the rooftops. 😂 I already owned a business. I wasn't interested in pretending I'd found some magical overnight success story. I wanted to know: Could this actually create another stream of income for me without requiring another appointment, another service, or another hour with my hands? And over time, it started helping me pay bills. That's when my thinking changed. Because maybe the thing I've been underestimating isn't the opportunity. Maybe it's what I'm capable of doing with it. I turned 54 this month, and apparently I missed the memo that this was when I was supposed to start slowing down. 😎 I'm doing the opposite. I'm reinventing myself. I'm thinking bigger. And I'm done deciding ahead of time how far I'm capable of going. I don't play small anymore.
