@karabpush: For years, I kept telling myself I’d take better care of myself when life slowed down. When the kids needed me less. When the house wasn’t so busy. When I had more time. When I had more energy. When everything finally felt a little easier. But life doesn’t really work that way, does it? 😅 There will always be something that needs to be done. Someone who needs you. Another responsibility waiting. And somewhere along the way, especially as moms, it becomes so easy to keep putting ourselves at the bottom of the list. I’m learning that taking care of myself doesn’t have to mean a whole day at the spa or having hours of free time. Sometimes it’s doing my skincare even when I’m tired. Putting on makeup just because it makes me feel good. Moving my body. Getting dressed. Having coffee alone. Taking care of my health. Or simply giving myself permission to rest without feeling guilty. At 41, I don’t want to keep waiting for a quieter season before I start showing up for myself. Because this season is busy, imperfect, full—is still my life too. 🤍 So maybe this is your sign too: Don’t wait until life gets less busy to take care of yourself. Start with the little things you can do today. 🫶🏻 #WomenOver40 #beautytoks #momlife #momof4 #selfcaretips
