starting 4th year as a commuter and not made a single friend. go to school. talk to to one unless necessary or spoken to and sit in hours of traffic to drive hour. and repeat. its hard to stay in contact let alone find the time to hangout with ppl. u tell people you commute and they’re shocked and then that’s it. u can talk to them for the quarter and then after than you don’t talk to them again unless u genuinely make a connection and it’s hard

as someone who just graduated take some time/ day a few times a month to just stay at campus for like an event uci hosts or club or go to those socials where u get free stuff!! one time i stayed for the “zot talks” victorious event at 4pm instead of going home to beat traffic and it was SOO WORTH IT AND SO FUN and i got to meet so many cool people but good luck queen u got this!!
